The breathtaking view of the ocean and rising sun from the east-facing hilltop location was absolutely stunning. The villa had all the necessary amenities, including a pool and a kitchen area, making our stay convenient and comfortable. We were able to enjoy delicious meals cooked by the owner, who was not only friendly but also accommodated both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. The pick-up and drop-off service provided by the villa at reasonable rates was a great convenience. I had a wonderful time at this hidden gem in Carana, Mahe. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel on the island of Mahe. The hotel's location on top of a hill provided breathtaking views of the ocean. It was such a delight to wake up each morning and take in the beautiful scenery. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently situated close to the beach, making it easy to indulge in some seaside relaxation.

During my stay, everything was just perfect.

Great breakfast on the terrace with fresh fruits and delicious Créole food for dinner. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding. The location, although a bit far from town, was perfect for those looking for a private and real experience with the culture and people of this Island in paradise.

The pool seemed a bit neglected, with leaves floating on it during our two-day stay. Prices for snacks and wine were quite steep, so be aware if you decide to indulge.

We had a pleasant stay at this villa. The surroundings were beautifully green, with palm trees and other endemic plants. The pool by the villa was a great spot to spend lazy days. The staff were very hospitable and provided helpful information about the area. The food we had was delicious and exotic.

We were not happy that the room we booked and paid for was not the one we stayed in. The pictures of the fountain were misleading as it was under construction and the fountain motor was loud and unsightly.

Located on top of a hill, the hotel is just a short walk away from the beach and near the bus stop that connects to Victoria and Beau Vallon. Rooms are well-maintained, comfortable, and design tastefully. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, and the dining area is bright with a beautiful view of the mountains. Wi-Fi is free and available all over the hotel.

As women traveling alone, we felt extremely safe and welcomed at Carana Hilltop Villa. The family-style atmosphere created by Ilene and Michael made us feel right at home. The abundant and tasty breakfast served on the beautiful terrace overlooking the tropical forest was a delightful way to start our day. Our room was spacious and had a private terrace with a stunning view of the sea. The convenient location, near Victoria and just a 5-minute walk to the bus station, allowed us to easily explore all the nearby beaches. The creole cooking at the villa was a highlight and we enjoyed dining in.

Felt safe walking at night, no complaints.
